clueless
Privacy Policy
TECHNO CHAIN, INC. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) explains below how information is handled in the iOS app “clueless.”
Information handled in the app
clueless handles the user identifier provided when you use Sign in with Apple; the photos, descriptions, and sizes of clothes you register; face photos; body information such as height and weight; avatars; outfits; diary entries; and generated images. Your closet, avatars, outfits, diary, photos, and generated images are, in principle, stored on your device. The items and Looks you choose to send to friends, and the reduced-size avatar images you share via QR code, are also stored temporarily on our servers so that they can be delivered. When you share your profile via a link, we store the images (the profile image and an image for the link preview), the title, and your nickname on our servers, and publish them as a page that anyone who knows the link can view. Your Apple user identifier and the app’s session information are stored in your device’s keychain.
Following and posting
When you use the follow and post features, we store your ID, name, Pixel avatar image, bio, the snaps you choose to make public (photos, videos or Pixel pictures, caption, the snap’s date, and the type, color, and name of the clothes you wore), and your follows and likes on our servers, and show them to other users of the app.
In addition, your profile (name, ID, Pixel avatar, and bio) and the snaps you choose to make public can be viewed on the web by anyone who has the link to your profile page (a URL ending in “/@ID”), including people who do not use the app. Except for temporary AI-effect storage described below, snaps you do not make public, and original photos before they are redrawn as Pixel art, are not stored on our servers and are never shown to others (when a photo is redrawn as Pixel art, the original photo is sent as described in “Transmission to external services” below, but it is not stored).
For safety, we also store the users you block and the content of reports. When you delete a post, we delete that post’s image, caption, and likes; when you delete your follow-and-post profile or use “Delete all data,” we delete your profile and all of your posts, follows, and likes from our servers, and your profile page on the web is no longer available (records of other users blocking you remain until they unblock you). For the rules, please see the Community Guidelines.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we store your device push token, preferences for each notification type, language, and account association on our servers. We use Apple Push Notification service (APNs) to notify you about video generation success or failure, follows, and likes. We send Apple the device token, notification text, and identifiers for the screen opened from a notification. Notifications do not contain photos, videos, names, or your Apple user identifier. You can disable notifications in the app or iPhone settings. We unregister the device when you sign out or delete your account. Registrations that have not been refreshed for 30 days are excluded from delivery and subsequently deleted.
Transmission to external services
When you use a feature that uses AI, the photos, clothing descriptions, body information, and other data required for that feature may be sent via our API to OpenAI, Anthropic, and AWS Bedrock, which we use to detect or generate images. When you generate an AI dance with the camera, we send only the Pixel avatar image, without the background photo, to Kling via our API. For AI effects, the selected source video and images of Looks you created and saved in clueless are sent to Higgsfield to generate a video featuring your selected Looks with the source motion. Videos you select from your device are uploaded directly to Higgsfield temporary storage; built-in motion templates and Look images are sent via our API. Before you use these features for the first time, the app displays an explanation and a consent screen. The authentication token issued when you use Sign in with Apple is used by our API to verify your identity and issue a session.
For AI effects, AWS Bedrock reads hair, face, proportions and art-style features from the reference images and compares them with sample frames from the finished video. Feature descriptions are temporary processing data and are deleted on the same schedule as the reference inputs.
For the paid Kling API, we send only your selected Pixel avatar image and a dance instruction, without the background photo, original face photo, name, or Apple identifier. Under sections 5.1, 5.5 and 5.6 of the Kling API Paid Service Terms, inputs and outputs are not used to train AI and are normally logged for 30 days. Retention may also be required for legal compliance. Deleting data on your device does not immediately delete Kling's logs. Please review those terms and the Kling API Privacy Policy for details.
Images, frames extracted from videos, captions, bios, and titles and names used in public share links are sent to OpenAI to check for inappropriate content. Videos selected for publication are uploaded to our server and served after safety checks. Making a video private deletes the published copy and disables web playback. Publication or updates do not proceed if the safety check cannot be completed.
Purchase information
When you purchase a monthly plan or tokens, our API receives App Store purchase information (transaction ID, product, subscription period, and whether a refund was made) from the app and the App Store, and stores it on our servers together with your balance of the tokens used for image generation. When you use the friend invite feature, we store your invite code, the date and time the code was entered, and the number of people you invited (we do not store the other person’s account name or contact information). Your payment information (such as card numbers) is never sent to us.
Purposes of use
We use this information to sign you in, detect and register clothes, create avatar and outfit images, provide the app’s features, prevent fraudulent use, and manage your token balance and usage count. We do not use it for delivering ads, measuring ad performance, or tracking you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Retention and deletion
To continue AI effects after you close the app, we temporarily store selected Look images privately and delete them when processing ends. Unfinished inputs become eligible for automatic deletion after one day. Completed videos and job status become eligible for automatic deletion after seven days and are removed in turn. Only the owner can retrieve videos using expiring links; deleting account data also removes them. Except for these temporary AI-effect files and data you choose to publish or share, our API does not persist AI input photos or generated results. We store purchase information for monthly plans and token balances in our database in order to manage plans. We temporarily hold information in server memory while an image generation job is being processed and so that its result can be retrieved. Reduced-size images sent to friends are kept in the inbox for 7 days, and reduced-size avatar images shared via QR code are kept for 180 days from the last time they were registered. Images shared via a link are kept until you stop the link in the app, use “Delete all data,” and in any case for no longer than one year from the last time you shared them. Images that other services, such as LINE or X, have captured as link previews are subject to the terms of each of those services. Images your friends have received remain on their devices. The handling of data by external AI services is subject to the terms of each of those services.
You can use “Delete all data” in the app to delete the profile, clothes, outfits, diary, and received images on your device, as well as your own inbox and the links you have shared, and to sign out. If you would like your purchase information and token balance deleted, please contact us at the address below.

Please send inquiries about this app and the handling of information to admin@zerotry.dev.
Sign in with Google
If you choose Google, your Google user identifier and ID token are sent to our API to verify the signature, audience and expiration. We use the verified identifier for your account and do not store your Google email address or profile photo. Your display name is used on the device as a suggested profile name. Google and Apple accounts are not automatically linked by email.
The Google SDK keeps sign-in credentials in the device keychain. Google may collect the user identifier and IP address, including an approximate region inferred for fraud prevention. Signing out removes Google credentials from the device. Deleting all data also disconnects the Google grant. We do not request access to Gmail, contacts or Drive. Google Privacy Policy
